Library FAQ

If the CSUSM Library does not own a book or is unavailable for checkout, you can request to borrow it from another library using Resource Sharing (CSU+ and Interlibrary Loan). 

To submit a request, please sign in to your Library Account and follow these steps:

1) First, check to see if we have it available as an ebook by searching in OneSearch. To search only for ebooks, select the filter for "Full-text online".

2) If we do not already have what you need, select "Get it for me from other libraries" to open the full item record.

3) Select "Get It" and "Send" to submit your request. You will be notified via email when the book is available for pickup.
