How can I limit my search in a database to find articles from certain years?

CSUSM's library databases all have the option to limit by date range (day, month, years).  The databases each have their own variations on how to do this.  Usually you will find the option to limit by date in Advanced Search or you can do your initial search and then filter by date once you get to the results page. Below are examples on where to find limit by date using Advanced Search in two popular databases, EBSCOhost and ProQuest:
