Library FAQ

Possibly. The Library purchases course materials depending on the availability and cost of the material. 

Please email reserve@csusm.edu with the title and bibliographic information of the materials you would like the Library to purchase. For books, an ebook version of the material will be ordered if it is available, otherwise, a print version will be purchased for the Library collection and placed on Physical Reserve for your course. Visit Submitting Library Reserves Requests for more information. 

The Library will acquire media items but they must fit the curriculum and be used by more than one faculty or for more than one semester to be considered for purchase.  All media items must be approved for purchase by the appropriate subject Librarian. Please include the request when submitting your Media Reserves Form.
