What is Interlibrary Loan?

Interlibrary Loan is a free resource sharing service that allows CSUSM students, faculty, and staff to request and borrow library materials (books, media, journal articles) not available at the University Library or from CSU+ partner libraries in California, nationwide and around the world. Requests that cannot be filled by CSU+ partner libraries will automatically be pushed to Interlibrary Loan libraries. Interlibrary Loan requests may take longer to arrive than CSU+ requests.
