Why am I being told I need DUO Multi-Factor Authentication to login to a database?

DUO multi-factor authentication (MFA) is an additional method of verifying your identity and protecting your information when you log into CSUSM systems and websites. 

All students, staff, and faculty accessing CSUSM systems and application are required to use multi-factor authentication.
