The CSUSM Archives Seach database is a database that describes the resources that the University Library's Special Collections department stewards for researchers. These collections are materials related to the history and cultural heritage of North County San Diego and Southwestern Riverside County, and include materials like letters, photographs, reports, oral history interviews, newspapers, and much more.
Yes! Archives Search is unfortunately not integrated with the Library's Start Your Research search tool. To find out what is in CSUSM's special collections, including its university archives, you must use Archives Search.
If you are researching something related to our university and our region's people, places, history, and/or cultural heritage, Archives Search could be of use to you and your research. Additionally, Special Collections may have unprocessed materials that might be of use to you. Please contact Special Collections at archives@csusm.edu for a research consultation.
